PCUP Luzon Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor - Field Operations Division for Luzon

Vision

A society where the poor are empowered, economically productive and actively participating in the poverty reduction program and sustainable development of the country. Goals

To increase urban poor access to land and housing and other basic services as provided for in RA 7279 or the Urban Development and Housing Act (UDHA), Executive Order No. 131, Memorandum Order No. 74, and Executive Order No. 371;

To ensure the conduct of just and humane demolition/eviction in accordance with the UDHA and Executive Order No. 152 as amended by Executive Order No. 708;

To provide technical assistance to the agencies tasked to implement Executive Order No. 153 instituting the national drive to suppress and eradicate professional squatting and squatting syndicates;

To institutionalize consultative mechanisms to ensure urban poor participation in governance and to effectively advocate for the approval of resolutions or programs in the local and national level geared towards a better life for the urban poor;

To intensify the conduct of Social Preparation and extend the services of its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team in case affected families opt to settle their conflicts instead of resorting to legal actions;

To promote greater understanding of the issues and problems on urban poverty through information dissemination and to foster unity and dialogue among the urban poor, government agencies and non-government organizations;

To ensure open communication lines among PCUP, the urban poor and other stakeholders for prompt and efficient service in cases that require urgent intervention.

BASAHIN: Mas Handa, Mas Kumpiyansa: Basic Life Support Training para sa mga Komunidad at Pamilya

HAGONOY, BULACAN — Mas pinatatag ang kahandaan ng mga komunidad sa Hagonoy, Bulacan sa pagtugon sa mga emergency sa pamamagitan ng tatlong araw na “Community First Response: Orientation on Basic Life Support (BLS) for Families” noong Setyembre 14–16, 2026.

Sa pagtutulungan ng PCUP, Resilience Redefined at LGU-Hagonoy, isinagawa ang pagsasanay sa mga Barangay Sto. Niño, Sto. Rosario, at Pugad, na nilahukan ng mga Mother Leaders, Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Barangay Tanods, Samahan ng mga Mamamante, at iba pang community volunteers. Tinalakay dito ang emergency care, CPR, early defibrillation, at iba pang pangunahing kaalaman sa BLS, na sinundan ng aktuwal na skills at return demonstration.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay, layunin na magkaroon ng mas handa, mas kumpiyansa, at mas may kakayahang mga pamilya at community volunteers na maaaring tumugon sa mga unang minuto ng isang emergency habang hinihintay ang mga propesyonal na medical responders.

Dahil sa emergency, bawat segundo ay mahalaga—at ang isang handang komunidad ay may kakayahang tumugon kapag buhay ang nakasalalay.

Sa direktiba at patuloy na suporta ni Usec. Michelle Anne "Che-Che" B. Gonzales, Chairperson and CEO, na-endorse ng PCUP ang ARWO para sa kanilang proposed livelihood program.

The Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) has officially registered the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) between the PCUP Employees' Association (PEA) and the management of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), as evidenced by Certificate of Registration No. 3964 dated 08 September 2026.

The registration marks an important milestone for PEA as a recognized employees’ organization and strengthens the partnership between the employees and PCUP management in promoting responsive administration, responsible public service, and effective workplace governance.

The CSC likewise expressed its intent to formally award the Certificate of Registration to PEA in a fitting ceremony.

Hangad ng Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), sa pangunguna ni Usec. Michelle Anne B. Gonzales, ang patuloy ninyong pag-unlad, pagkakaisa, at pagpapalago ng kabuhayan tungo sa mas maunlad na pamumuhay.

Anim (6) na kasapi ng samahan ang nabiyayaan ng DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) na kinabibilangan ng Carinderia Package, Catering Package, Barbecue Package, at iba pang livelihood assistance.

TINGNAN: Paghahanda para sa Mas Matatag na Kinabukasan: Mananao HOA, Sumailalim sa Financial Literacy Training

SAN MANUEL, ISABELA — Nagsagawa ng Financial Literacy Training ang PCUP – Field Operations Division for Luzon (FODL) katuwang ang National Housing Authority (NHA) Region 2 – CAR II, para sa mga miyembro ng Mananao Homeowners Association, Inc. sa San Manuel, Isabela.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na palawakin ang kaalaman ng mga kalahok sa wastong pamamahala ng pananalapi, hindi lamang sa antas ng indibidwal at pamilya, kundi maging sa pamamahala ng pananalapi ng kanilang organisasyon.

Malayang ibinahagi ng mga kalahok ang kanilang mga karanasan, pananaw, at mga hamon sa pamamahala ng kanilang pananalapi, gayundin ang mga mahahalagang aral na kanilang natutuhan mula sa pagsasanay.

Patuloy na isinusulong ng PCUP at mga katuwang nitong ahensya ang pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng mga organisasyon ng mga maralitang tagalungsod upang maging mas responsable, maalam, at matatag sa pamamahala ng kanilang mga pinagkukunang-yaman.
