DAR CALABARZON Joins "Handog ng Pangulo" Celebration

DAR CALABARZON joined the nationwide "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Tapat para sa Lahat," a celebration of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s birthday and his administration's programs, where national agencies in all the regions came together to bring services directly to the people.

DAR CALABARZON marked the occasion by handing over farm machinery, equipment, and inputs to its agrarian reform beneficiaries. In Batangas, the agency capped off its Farm Business School program and distributed farm inputs to 33 ARBs. In Cavite, farmers received a tractor with rotary tiller, ready-to-lay chickens, and farm inputs, reaching 158 ARBs.

In Laguna, DAR launched a solar-powered vertical garden and awarded certificates under the Mabait Uplands initiative, benefiting 120 ARBs. In Quezon I, beneficiaries got a food dehydrator, a multi-tiller, motorcycles with sidecars, and a hand tractor, supporting 393 ARBs.

And in Quezon II, DAR gave out a power tiller, a multi-tilling machine, a corn husker-sheller, sprayers, seeders, and a cultivator, reaching 100 ARBs. Lastly, the province of Rizal gave ready to lay chicken for egg production that will benefit 25 ARBs.

In total, 829 ARBs across the five provinces benefited which was a meaningful way to bring the celebration's spirit straight to the farmers.
