The Municipal Government of Santa Rita conducted its regular flag ceremony, hosted by DepEd Santa Rita.
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared updates on recent activities of the Municipality. He highlighted the successful conduct of the PSA-MCRO Caravan, facilitated by the Municipal Civil Registrarโs Office led by Ms. Janice Javier, in coordination with PSA Pampanga. The activity enabled many Ritenians to process their National ID, supporting their access to various government services and benefits.
The Mayor also acknowledged the recent Operation Tuli conducted by the Rural Health Unit led by Dr. Vince Vizcayno, which provided free services to Ritenian beneficiaries.
He further reported on the recent visit of Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, including the unveiling of the bust of her father, former President Diosdado P. Macapagal. On the same day, assistance was extended to 311 beneficiaries through the AICS program, along with a school feeding activity at Santa Rita Central Elementary School.
As part of the ceremony, Charles Justine B. Flor of Becuran Elementary School was recognized for his achievements in the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA), earning 2nd Place in 110m Hurdles and 3rd Place in 400m Hurdles. He was joined by his coach, Mr. Alvin Magat, and School Head Ms. Donnalyn Limin.
The host, DepEd Santa Rita, also presented the upcoming school year calendar. Mayor Calo thanked Public Schools District Supervisor Ms. Emily Maninang, as well as the teachers and school heads, and shared that the distribution of school bags with supplies for students is being prepared for the coming school year.
The Municipality continues its efforts in delivering programs and services for the people of Santa Rita.
