| HANDA ngayon. Ligtas bukas. 🚨

Day 2 of the Cagayan Valley RSTW 2026 continues with HANDA Bagong Pilipinas—a timely initiative highlighting how science, technology, and innovation can help communities prepare for and respond to disasters, especially when the region experiences heavy rains.

"We owe you whatever lives we will able to save", Hon. Edgar Aglipay said as he expressed his gratitude to DOST Secretary Renato U. Solidum Jr. for the disaster-related technologies and interventions provided by DOST to the Province of Tuguegarao and the Cagayan Valley Region.

And later today, we will take preparedness one step further as we join the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), right here at the HANDA Bagong Pilipinas event.
