July 28, 2026 | The City Government of Taguig through its Cooperative Development Office Head conducted the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) for Angat Lahat Tayo Credit Cooperative, attended by 86 all-women participants before proceeding to their 1st General Assembly.

After successfully completing the Pre-Membership Education Seminar, the participants took another important step in their cooperative journey by immediately convening for their inaugural General Assembly, showing their dedication and commitment to establishing a strong, active, and sustainable cooperative.

With the continuous support of the City Government, the TCDO remains committed to providing programs and services that help strengthen cooperatives, empower women, and foster community development across the City of Taguig.

The City Government of Taguig, through its Cooperative Development Office, together with TCCDC, COUNTPA, and UDPSC, conducted the 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬
today at the 4th Floor, LEAP Center, Taguig City.

Joined by 18 micro, small and medium cooperatives, the workshop provided participants with practical guidelines on preparing for and responding to natural disasters, man-made incidents, digital crises, and other disruptions that may affect cooperative operations.

Through the provided Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Toolkit, each participating cooperative was able to develop its own Business Continuity Plan, equipping them with a clear framework to protect their operations, ensure continuous service to their members, and recover more effectively during times of crisis.

Adding to the success of the activity were our resource speakers from the Cooperative Development Authority – NCR, Cooperative Development Specialists Ms. Malou Valencia and Mr. Arnel Cruz, who shared their expertise and guided the participants throughout the workshop.

Our deep appreciation for our two cooperative unions: COUNTPA and UDPSC for sponsoring our participants snacks and lunch.

Building stronger cooperatives means building a stronger and more resilient Taguig.

The City Government of Taguig proudly celebrates the inauguration and blessing of the Rajah Sumakwel Multipurpose Building and the Taguig City Nutrition and Food Technology Center.

One of the major highlight of this milestone is the Shared Facility of the Taguig Kakanin Producers Cooperative (TKPC), designed to enhance production capacity, improve product quality, and provide greater opportunities for local kakanin entrepreneurs.

This project was made possible through the leadership of City Mayor Hon. Maria Laarni “Lani” L. Cayetano, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – NCR (DOST-NCR)** through the Taguig Cooperative Development Office (TCDO) under the Rice Cake Taguig Project.

The City Government also recognizes the valuable support of Mr. Kim L. Atienza, Supervising Science Research Specialist and OIC of MUNTAPARLAS CASTO, for being part of this meaningful occasion.

Together, we continue to empower cooperatives, preserve our local food heritage, and build a more Transformative, Lively, and Caring Probinsyudad.

The Taguig Cooperative Development Office proudly conducted the Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony of the Officers of the Angat Lahat Tayo Credit Cooperative on July 24, 2026, at the Taguig LEAP Center, Pinagsama Village, Taguig City.

The ceremony was officiated by the Head of the Taguig Cooperative Development Office, who served as the Inducting Officer for the newly elected Board of Directors, Election Committee, Audit Committee, and newly appointed officers of the cooperative. She also gave a quick Leadership Onboarding Orientation to the newly inducted leaders of the coop defining the coop structure and the corresponding roles, functions, duties and responsibilities of each driving towards cooperation and complementations.

In her message, she underscored that transformative leadership is anchored on integrity, courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to service. She challenged the officers to lead with vision, empower every member, and cultivate a cooperative that thrives through solidarity, accountability, and purposeful action.

As a women-led cooperative, Angat Lahat Tayo Credit Cooperative embodies the strength, determination, and collective spirit of women who lead with compassion while driving meaningful progress. May this new chapter ignite bold initiatives, strengthen organizational excellence, and inspire every member to work together in advancing a more resilient, inclusive, and empowered cooperative for the community.

A new chapter begins for the Taguig City Cooperative Development Council (TCCDC) as its newly elected officers held their 1st Regular Council Meeting on July 22, 2026 together with the Taguig Cooperative Development Office.

The meeting was filled with meaningful discussions, fresh ideas, and exciting plans aimed at further strengthening the cooperative sector in our Probinsyudad.

May this be the start of stronger partnerships, purposeful service, and more opportunities for every Taguig cooperative to grow and thrive.
