TALIBON CHILD DEVELOPMENT WORKERS REGULAR MEETING 🤝

On August 25, 2026, the Talibon Child Development Workers (CDWs) conducted their regular meeting as part of the municipality’s continuing efforts to strengthen the implementation of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) services and programs.

The meeting was attended by the newly installed Day Care Officer, Ms. Cendie Bautista, and ECCD Focal Person, Ms. Reza Mae Gelves, together with the MSWDO, Ms. Ellen Magallanes, who provided technical assistance on the implementation and monitoring of ECCD services and programs.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss concerns, strengthen coordination, and ensure the effective delivery of quality and responsive ECCD services for the children and families of Talibon. 💚

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ERPAT-MOVE Training: Engaging Men as Partners in Women’s Advocacy 💜

On August 31, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Talibon, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), conducted the ERPAT-MOVE Training attended by men from the CPG Village Homeowners Association, San Carlos, Talibon, Bohol.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), highlighting the importance of engaging men as active partners in promoting gender equality, strengthening families, and protecting women and children.

Mr. Diego Evardone, ERPAT-MOVE Focal of Talibon, discussed the ERPAT-MOVE Program, emphasizing responsible fatherhood and the important role of men in building strong and harmonious families.

Meanwhile, MSWDO Ellen Magallanes, GAD Focal Person, facilitated the discussion on “ERPAT as Partners in Women’s Advocacy,” which included a discussion on Republic Act No. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act). The session encouraged men to become advocates for respect, equality, and a violence-free community.

Through ERPAT-MOVE, we continue to empower men to become responsible fathers, supportive partners, and active advocates for women’s rights and family welfare. 💙💜

Malampusong ni-attend sa Orientation ug Initial Organization ang mga beneficiaries sa Project LAWA AT BINHI sa Talibon, Bohol.

Ang maong kalihokan gipangunahan sa Talibon Municipal Poverty Reduction Action Office, ubos sa pagpangulo ni Sir Joseph Balabag, isip kabahin sa pag-andam ug pag-organisa sa mga beneficiaries alang sa malampusong pagpatuman sa programa.

Human sa 20-day Cash for Work, padayon gihapon ang atong mga beneficiaries sa pag-atiman ug pag-aligrar sa ilang mga garden. Ug karon, nagka-harvest na sila sa ilang mga tanom sama sa upland kangkong, sibuyas dahon, ug uban pang mga gulay! 🌱💚

Dako kaayong kalipay nga makita nga ang atong LAWA AT BINHI Project wala kutob sa Cash for Work. Padayon ang atong mga beneficiaries sa pagpananom ug pag-atiman sa ilang garden, ug karon nakatilaw na sila sa bunga sa ilang kakugi—ANI NA! 🥬🧅❤️

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 7 successfully concluded the Stage 1 Learning and Development Sessions of Project LAWA at BINHI in the Municipality of Talibon, Bohol, on July 14–15, 2026, equipping 250 partner-beneficiaries with essential knowledge and skills to strengthen disaster resilience and sustainable livelihoods.
