Board of Management Quaid-E-Azam Industrial Estate Lahore’s leading industrial hub The Estate was previously under the administration of the Department of Housing and Physical Planning Govt.

Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate previously known as ‘Township Industrial Estate’ was founded under Pakistani and Canadian Joint Assistance Program in 1960. Basically the scheme involved setting up of a Residential area and an Industrial Estate side by side, so as to accelerate industrial growth as well as urban development in Lahore, the cultural metropolis of Pakistan. of Punjab which passed on th

e control and ownership of the assets of the industrial estate to Lahore Development Authorities in 1993. Thereafter, in 2004, a major step towards professional development and control of industrial estates in the province was taken by the Government and the Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) was established. Township Industrial Estate was renamed as Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate and was placed under PIEDMC. QIE is one of the largest planned industrial estates of Punjab, spread over an area of 565 acres. It has 477 industrial plots of various sizes varying from 1 kanal to 100 kanals.The Industries located in the estate comprise units of Textile, Dyeing & Printing, Auto Parts, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Household Appliances, Plastic ware, Chemicals, Rubber / Foam, Cosmetics etc. A total of 50,000 workers are employed which includes approximately 10,000 female workers.

🌿 Tree Plantation Drive in Collaboration with DHL 🌿

Yesterday at 1:00 PM, a Tree Plantation Drive was held at QIE in collaboration with DHL. President QIE, Mian Nauman Kabir, led the event and emphasized the importance of tree plantation for a greener and healthier environment.

Sr. Estate Manager proposed an MoU with DHL to make the industrial estate greener and help reduce smog effects. DHL officials also visited the Urban Forest at QIE Park, where plants grown six months ago are now turning into trees.

President QIE planted the first tree, followed by DHL officials. Board Member Mr. Muhammad Saeed offered a prayer, and light refreshments were served at the QIE office.

President QIE also directed to form two teams for continued plantation at Malik Kanda Road and QIE Gate #6.

اس عمل کی نگرانی صدر قائداعظم انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ میاں نعمان کبیر نے ضلعی انتظامیہ اور دیگر افسران کے ساتھ مل کر کی۔

رات گئے تک صدر BOM-QIE میاں نعمان کبیر کی سربراہی میں انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ کے صنعتکاروں نے سیلاب متاثرین کے لیے امدادی سامان کی تیاری جاری رکھی تاکہ زیادہ سے زیادہ خاندانوں تک یہ سہولت پہنچائی جا سکے۔

6 ستمبر پاکستان میں 'یومِ دفاع' کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔ اس دن کی اہمیت 1965 کی پاک بھارت جنگ سے وابستہ ہے، جب بھارتی افواج نے رات کے اندھیرے میں پاکستان پر حملہ کیا تھا۔
یہ دن پاکستانی عوام اور مسلح افواج کی جانب سے غیر معمولی جرات، بہادری اور قربانی کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ اس دن پوری قوم متحد ہو کر دشمن کے مذموم عزائم کو ناکام بنانے کے لیے کھڑی ہوئی۔ اس جنگ میں
یہ ثابت ہوا کہ جنگیں عوام اور فوج کے متحد ہو کر لڑنے سے ہی جیتی جا سکتی ہیں۔

اس جنگ میں افواج پاکستان نے نہ صرف دشمن کے حملے کو پسپا کیا بلکہ اس کے غرور کو بھی خاک میں ملا دیا۔
یہ دن ان تمام شہیدوں اور غازیوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرنے کا دن ہے
جنہوں نے وطن کے دفاع کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔
