ڈائریکٹر جنرل انڈسٹریز اینڈ کامرس خیبر پختونخوا، جناب غلام سعید خان، اور ڈپٹی کمشنر چارسدہ، جناب ڈاکٹر عظمت اللہ وزیر کی ہدایات کی تعمیل میں اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر کنزیومر پروٹیکشن کونسل چارسدہ نے ضلع چارسدہ میں قائم پٹرول پمپس کا معائنہ کیا۔

دورانِ معائنہ پٹرولیم مصنوعات کے دستیاب اسٹاک کا جائزہ لیا گیا جو تسلی بخش پایا گیا۔ پٹرول پمپ مالکان کو سختی سے ہدایت کی گئی کہ وہ اپنے پٹرول پمپس ہر وقت کھلے رکھیں اور صارفین کو پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی بلا تعطل فراہمی یقینی بنائیں۔

مزید ہدایت کی گئی کہ ذخیرہ اندوزی (Hoarding) اور ناجائز منافع خوری (Profiteering) کسی بھی صورت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔ اگر کسی بھی پٹرول پمپ پر ذخیرہ اندوزی یا ناجائز منافع خوری پائی گئی تو متعلقہ افراد کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق سخت کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی

A filling station in Mansehra was sealed for deliberately disrupting the supply of diesel despite having a sufficient quantity of diesel available in its storage tank. The diesel dispensing unit, along with the storage tank containing diesel, was sealed in violation of Consumer rights. During the proceedings, the accused recorded a confessional statement admitting the intentional disruption of diesel supply. Further legal action will been initiated in accordance with the relevant laws.

Upon the directions of the Worthy Director General, Industries and Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Assistant Director Industries/Consumer Protection Council, Chitral, conducted an E-Khuli Kacheri to facilitate consumers and address their grievances.
During the E-Khuli Kacheri, various complaints were received through telephone calls and comments on the official social media page. All complaints will be thoroughly inquired into and addressed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the law.
The Consumer Protection Council remains committed to protecting consumers' rights and ensuring fair trade practices throughout the district.

In compliance with the directions of the Director General, Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an E-Khuli Kacheri was conducted on 16-07-2026 at the Office of the Assistant Director, District Swabi.
During the session, 4 citizens participated through phone/online and registered complaints and queries related to consumer rights and public service delivery. Necessary guidance was provided under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Consumer Protection Act, 1997, and complaints requiring further action have been recorded for processing.
The E-Khuli Kacheri concluded successfully, promoting transparency, accountability, and effective public grievance redressal.

On the directions of the worthy Director General, Industries, Commerce & Technical Education (IC&T), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Assistant Director Industries & Commerce, Tank/South Waziristan, Mr. Zulqarnain Shah, conducted an inspection of bakeries and butcher shops in District Tank on 16/07/2026.
During the inspection, expired food items were found at a bakery. At a butcher shop, unhygienic conditions were observed, and meat was being sold at higher-than-approved rates. The violators were fined on the spot and strictly warned to maintain proper hygiene, ensure the quality and safety of food items, and comply with the prescribed government rates.
The inspection was carried out under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (Amended 2017).

Subject: Verification of Petrol Availability in Khyber District

Following complaints on social media regarding the non-availability of petrol, the Assistant Director (CPC & Industries), Khyber, conducted an inspection of various petrol pumps in the district.

The inspection confirmed that:

· Fuel was available at the visited pumps.
· The selling process was being carried out in accordance with OGRA-notified rates.

However, petrol pump owners reported persistent issues of reduced supply quantities and delayed deliveries from oil companies, which they cited as the primary cause of local shortages.

E-khuli Kacheri today on 16-07-2026.
In compliance with the directions of the Director General, Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an E-Khuli Kacheri was successfully conducted on 16-07-2026 at the Office of the Assistant Director District Mohmand.

The purpose of the E-Khuli Kacheri was to provide a convenient platform for the general public to register their complaints, suggestions, and grievances regarding consumer rights, industrial matters, and public service delivery. Citizens actively participated through the online/phone calls and highlighted issues related to overpricing, quality of goods and services, consumer awareness, and unfair trade practices.

During the session, all complaints and queries were heard patiently. 12 different citizens participated and lodged their complaints. Guidance was provided to the complainants in accordance with the provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Consumer Protection Act, 1997. Complaints requiring further action have been recorded and are being processed in accordance with the relevant laws.

The E-Khuli Kacheri concluded successfully and proved to be an effective initiative for strengthening communication between the public and the department, ensuring transparency, accountability, and prompt redressal of consumer grievances. Submitted for information please

On the directives of the Director General Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Assistant Director Industries & Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Kohat conducted a comprehensive inspection of Kohat Main Bazaar today on 15/07/2026.
During the inspection, expiry dates of various products were thoroughly checked to ensure consumer safety. Official price lists were also examined to verify compliance with government-notified rates. In addition, detailed inspections of chicken shops were carried out, where vendors were instructed to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards in the interest of public health.
Strict action was taken against violators, and heavy fines were imposed on the spot for non-compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
The Industries & Consumer Protection Council, Kohat remains committed to protecting consumer rights, ensuring fair trade practices, and promoting a safe, transparent, and healthy marketplace for all citizens.

REPORT REGARDING E-KHULI KACHEHRI HELD ON 15-07-2026 AT DISTRICT PESHAWAR

In compliance with the directions of the worthy Director General, Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Assistant Director, Industries & Consumer Protection Council, District Peshawar, organized an E-Khuli Kachehri on 15-07-2026 to provide an accessible platform for the general public to register and seek redressal of their consumer-related grievances.
During the E-Khuli Kachehri, various complaints were received from citizens concerning overcharging, defective products, misleading business practices, and other unfair trade practices.

The Assistant Director, Industries & Consumer Protection Council, District Peshawar, shall undertake necessary verification, inspections, and appropriate legal proceedings against the violators, in accordance with the provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (as amended), to safeguard the rights and interests of consumers in District Peshawar.
