Since 1969, Peace Corps Volunteers have served alongside Eswatini communities, building connections rooted in service, cultural exchange, and partnership. Over the past five decades, more than 1,400 Volunteers have contributed to programs in education, agriculture, community health, and youth development across Eswatini.
Last Friday, Chargรฉ dโ Affaires Marc Weinstock joined Peace Corps Eswatini, government officials, community leaders, former and current Volunteers, and partners to celebrate 50 years of Peace Corps partnership in Eswatini at Mountain View Hotel in Mbabane.
The event honored the people and communities who have shaped this enduring partnership โ from host families and schools to clinics and youth programs โ and reflected on the shared commitment to empowering communities and strengthening mutual understanding.
As Peace Corps Eswatini looks to the future, the spirit of collaboration and community leadership continues to guide its mission across the Kingdom.
