Get your red, white, and blue on and join in our patriotic fun at the Library!

The Ainsworth Public Library and the Ainsworth Library Foundation will be holding some special programs to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States. Join the library in the patriotic fun from June 22nd to July 6th! We will have two different events dealing with the U.S. Flag. You may pick up your entry forms at the Ainsworth Library.

1. The US Flag Finders Hunt is open to all ages. Find as many flags around town as you can see and list the flags locations on our Flag Hunt Sheet. Special prizes will be awarded handed out to the person who finds the most flags. If more than one person has the same number, then those names will go into a drawing for the prizes. Entries must be returned back to the library by July 6th.

2. A Kids Patriotic Coloring Contest for children PreK to 6th Grade will also be held at this same time. There will be two different patriotic coloring sheets for the students. Pick up your coloring sheet, do your best work, and return it to the library by July 6th. Prizes will be awarded for the best coloring!

This is the last week of Summer Reading Program Fun-Hours! The Preschool children come on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. Toddler Time will be on Tuesday from 4:30 - 5 p.m. The grade school age children come on Thursday. K-1st grade from 1-2 p.m. and the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders from 3-4 p.m. Lots of dinosaur fun planned!
