Fantastic News! Thanks to the team at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument for working through the certification process. We have some of the darkest skies around here in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Let's keep it that way!

Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument has officially been designated an International Dark Sky Park. 🌵✨

Located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, the monument has spent years protecting its incredible night skies through responsible lighting, astronomy outreach, and conservation efforts that support nocturnal wildlife and the surrounding community.

Congratulations to the park staff and local community helping protect the night for future generations. Learn more about their efforts to become a Dark Sky Park: https://bit.ly/3Pix2OG
