🔥🌮 What a great day at our first Junior Chef Competition on May 16th! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

In an incredible partnership between K-12 by Elior and Alamogordo Public Schools, Alamogordo High School Culinary Arts students teamed up to mentor five amazing middle school teams and the results were absolutely delicious! From the first chop to the final presentation, these young chefs brought the heat with creativity, teamwork, and serious culinary talent. The kitchen was packed with bold flavors featuring crispy Southwest egg rolls, savory chorizo gorditas, Southwest-inspired pastas, and authentic street tacos that wowed the judges. 🌶️🧀🌮

🏆 Huge congratulations to the Butter Chickens for taking home the win with their mouthwatering Southwest Street Tacos! 👏🌟

This competition was more than just cooking, it was a celebration of mentorship, community, leadership, and passion that left everyone eager to see what these talented students cook up next!✨

😎 Summer Grab & Go Meals are back!!! 😍
Beginning on June 1st, all local children ages 1 to 18 can enjoy free breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday between 11am and 1pm until July 30th! 🍎🥪🥛
