Join the Executive Chamber, the NYS Intelligence Center Cyber Analysis Unit and the New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services on Wednesday, August 5 at 11 a.m. for a webinar that will present an overview of specific PLC threats to water and wastewater facilities and immediate actions that must be taken to protect this infrastructure.

NYAOT Summary of EO 62: Establishing a Moratorium on Data Centers

Governor Kathy Hochul yesterday signed an Executive Order to create the nation’s first moratorium on new hyperscale data centers. State environmental permits are temporarily paused for up to one year in order to build a regulatory framework with the stated goal of protecting ratepayers, the environment, the energy grid and communities across the state.
