New York Assembly Republican Conference The official page for the New York State Assembly Republican Conference RACC is managed by Republican Leader Will Barclay.

RACC is a political committee devoted to ending the Democratic stronghold on our government and increasing the Republican delegation in the New York State Assembly. RACC accomplishes this through: direct financial contributions to candidates and to Republican Party organizations; technical and research assistance to Republican candidates and party organizations; voter registration, education and turnout programs and other party-building activities. RACC relies most heavily on individuals from all walks of life, committed to the principles of smaller, more efficient government and economic freedom who contribute $25, $50 or $100 per year. Decades before the certification, tracing back to the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, the fight for women’s equality began here in New York, where a group of brave women fought for their rightful seat at the table.

We celebrate the historic milestone and the strength of Democracy.

2,000 correctional officers fired.

More than $1 billion spent on National Guard prison staffing.

Gov. Hochul created the crisis inside NY’s correctional facilities and failing to address safety concerns, violence and staffing shortages led to officers voicing their outrage.

Despite repeated efforts to advance agreed-upon solutions by Assembly Republicans, Democrats have not moved forward with the 10 proposals developed by the Humane Alternatives to Long-Term Solitary Confinement (HALT) Committee which was formed as part of the March 2025 agreement with representatives from her administration and multiple unions representing correctional staff.

DSA members want to abolish the Senate. Allow non-citizens to vote. End capitalism & seize private property.
