The new bridge is:
🔵 Wider than its predecessor
🔵 Adds a sidewalk

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 PM this evening for western Massachusetts, western Connecticut, and southeastern New York. Damaging winds and hail will be the primary threats with these storms.

Thunderstorms are beginning to develop over central New York, bringing damaging winds and heavy rain as they move into eastern New York through tonight.

Scattered power outages are likely from damaging winds. Isolated ponding and flash flooding cannot be ruled out.

Our Syracuse Maintenance Division staff brought winter to summer yesterday at a Touch-a-Truck event at Montessori at LeMoyne! ☀️➡️❄️

Students explored Thruway snow-fighting equipment, met our team and learned how we keep roads safe during colder months, all while enjoying a fun, hands-on experience on a hot day.

Events like this are a great way to connect with our community! 🚜👷
