Update on outages last night. Areas north of Alexandria that experienced an outage last night, the cause was equipment failure on a transmission power pole that feeds our LaGrand Substation. Great River Energy repaired the equipment, and power was restored around 10:00 p.m. For those with an outage south and west of Brandon, the outage was caused by a pole-top fire, and REA crews restored power around 9:00 p.m. Thank you again for your patience during this inconvenience. JOIN US TODAY, April 22nd, at the Alexandria Area High School for the RE Annual Meeting! Registration is from 4-5 PM, and the meeting will begin at 5 PM sharp!

The Annual Meeting serves as an opportunity to update members on how their co-op is doing financially and operationally, to elect directors, and to transact business. It is a chance for members to learn more about their co-op, ask questions, and get educated on programs offered by REA.
