This is great news and a big win for our community. In my opinion, data centers are a poor fit for the Lehigh Valley, but decisions about specific projects are best left to local communities and that’s why I’ve been focused on empowering them through legislation to allow the enactment of local moratoriums to review local ordinances.

Air Products confirmed Tuesday it will not appeal the Upper Macungie zoning board's rejection to build a 2.6 million-square-foot data center.

Sunday hunting is expanding across more state parks this season, but it’s still a park-by-park call. Check your local park before you head out.

Sunday hunting will be permitted in season in designated areas across most of Pennsylvania's 125 state parks during the 2026-27 license year, with exceptions.

Big news for PA anglers: the state is increasing the minimum size limit for trout next year from 7 to 9 inches. The change is being driven by Pennsylvania's trout management plan and should have a positive impact on our Brook trout population.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission approved the change to protect wild brook trout, the state's only native trout species, with overwhelming public support.

This morning, we presented a certificate in recognition of the groundbreaking of the new Upper Macungie Township Fire & Rescue Station 57. This moment marks a historic step forward for our community, as Fogelsville Volunteer Fire Company, Good Will Fire Co. No. 1 of Trexlertown, and Upper Macungie Township Station 56 officially unite as Station 57.

Their merger strengthens emergency services and reinforces an unwavering commitment to protecting the residents of Upper Macungie Township for generations to come. Deep gratitude to every firefighter who serves our community with professionalism and heart.
