Today proved to be another busy day for our volunteers as Han-Le-Co Fire/Rescue responded to three separate incidents throughout the township.

While our crews were committed to a wire fire incident, which caused a power outage that affected a large portion of our Township. As Engine 33 arrived on location, Lehigh County notified Assistant 33 of a 2nd call in our township at one of our hotels. Catasauqua Fire Department District 2 was added for the elevator rescue. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Catasauqua Fire Department for handling the elevator rescue and ensuring our residents received the assistance they needed while our members remained committed to the wire fire.

This weekend kept Han-Le-Co Fire/Rescue members extremely busy.

While continuing to answer multiple emergency calls throughout the weekend, our members also assisted at Lehigh Valley International Airport with traffic and parking operations as drivers, their families, and crew members returned from Pocono Raceway and arrived at the airport to begin their trips home.

The ability of our volunteers to balance emergency response responsibilities while supporting large community events is a testament to their dedication and commitment to public service. Whether it's responding to emergencies, assisting with traffic operations, or helping our community in any way needed.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers for the countless hours they dedicated this weekend and for their continued service to our community.

Remember, Han-Le-Co Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for individuals interested in serving their community. Stop by any Monday night from 6pm to 9pm and see what we're all about!
