Allentown School District Welcome to the official page of the Allentown School District! We invite you to comment and share these celebrations of our amazing community.

Mission
The mission of the Allentown School District is to serve the diverse educational needs of each student, by igniting their passion for learning and creating an academic culture. Vision
The Allentown School District envisions a learning community that increases student achievement by cultivating positive relationships, offering rigorous and meaningful curricula, and by empowering the Allento

wn community. Core Values
To support students in achieving academic excellence and attaining a bright future beyond graduation, we must align our actions and mindsets in order to become a learning community committed to these core values:

Collaboration - Cultivating students, staff, families, and community engagement and recognizing that we get better together and all of our strengths are needed. Empowerment - Equipping stakeholders to help students reach their full potential by providing them with the encouragement, resources, support, and opportunities they need to excel. Innovation - Fostering innovation among our staff to design learning experiences and environments that promote a culture of curiosity, creativity, and future readiness. Integrity - Building trust and accountability through honest and transparent communication within our learning community. Respect - Creating the conditions for a positive and welcoming culture where everyone feels safe, valued, empowered, and loved. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
The official district page is maintained by the ASD Office of Communications for the purpose of engaging with our students, families, staff, and community at large here in Allentown. This page is a space where we will post informative and important information as it relates to Allentown schools. This is also a forum to celebrate the staff and student success, and positive achievements in the arts, athletics, and academics. Please note:

• Comments will be hidden that contain vulgar or abusive language; pornography; personal attacks of any kind; offensive terms, or terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups or incite violence.
• Comments that violate Facebook’s Terms of Use, are spam, clearly “off-topic,” irrelevant, inappropriate, divulge personal student or staff information, or that promote services or products may also be hidden.
• Please be kind. Comments that insult or bully others may also be hidden.
• Be civil. We do not condone foul language. The profanity filter for this page is set to strong, so any comments with profanity or variations of profane words are automatically hidden.
• No spamming. Asking the same question or posting the same comment repeatedly on different posts or after your initial comment has been removed.
• No sales pitches or product posts.
• The Allentown School District is not responsible for user-generated content and the opinions expressed in that content do not necessarily reflect those of ASD. CONTACT US
The district social media inboxes are not monitored on a regular basis and you will likely not receive an immediate response to inquiries made in the comments of posts or in our inbox. Please make every effort to contact your child's school if you have any serious concerns about ASD. A reminder for all secondary students in Allentown! 🚌 🚌 LANTA Lehigh Valley and the Allentown School District are continuing their partnership, under which Middle & High School students can ride LANTA's fixed-route service using their ASD-issued ID for no additional fare!
For the first week of school, LANTA will not ask students to present an ASD -issued ID. Until student IDs are issued for the 2026-2027 school year, students can ride using their 2025-2026 school year ID or present a class schedule. Fare-free access is only available to current ASD students and is not transferable or extendable to family members or other individuals. Students may take a photo of their ID on their mobile phone and show it to the driver upon boarding.
Per LANTA policy, riders under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. LANTA direct routes begin the first day of school! Routes & FAQs can be found here: https://lantabus.com/routes-and-schedules/400s/
