Did you know that you could be getting way more out of your Libby account?
Alma library card holders can add “Partner Libraries” to their Libby accounts. Which means your digital shelf could be a whole lot bigger!
Partner Libraries are local libraries that have combined their digital book collections on Libby. This way, libraries can “fill in the gaps” within their own collections by allowing users to digitally checkout books from partnering libraries.
How to add a Partner Library:
• Open Libby App “Menu” tab (either three stacked lines or the Libby icon at the bottom of the screen).
• Under “Your Libraries” tap “Add Library”.
• Search the name of the library you would like to add from the list below.
• Click “Sign in with my Card”
• Select “Alma Public Library” and sign in.
• On your “Menu” tab you will now have a digital library card to another library that you can use to access their online collection!
Note: Some partner libraries may place limits on visiting library cards. For example, when you visit a partner library, you may have a lower checkout limit, lower priority for holds, or the inability to place holds.
