It can be hard talking to kids about big topics, so we've compiled a list of picture and nonfictions books that can help adults talk about big topics with kids. The lists cover a variety of topics and are by no means exhaustive, but the titles are all in the Anacortes Public Library catalog and are recommended by Anacortes Librarians. The Big Topics binder is located in the Children's Library and can be found online at the Library's website.
