Get an inside look at one of the industries that powers Alaska's economy during our Fish Processing Plant Tour in Unalaska/Dutch Harbor.

Attendees will tour a state-of-the-art seafood processing facility and learn how some of Alaska's most valuable seafood products including po***ck, cod, halibut, black cod, king crab, snow crab, and Dungeness crab, are processed and shipped to markets around the world.

From advanced quality control laboratories to HACCP-certified processing operations, this behind-the-scenes experience will showcase the innovation, workforce, and commitment to excellence that make Unalaska a global leader in seafood production.

We're excited to see firsthand how Alaska's seafood industry supports communities, jobs, and economic opportunity across our state.

⛳️ What a beautiful day to support resource education!

The Alaska Chamber was proud to be out on the course today supporting the Alaska Resource Education Coal Classic Golf Tournament. With gorgeous weather, great company, and plenty of friendly competition, it was a fantastic day celebrating the important work ARE does to connect students with the resource industries across the state.

The Alaska Chamber was pleased to attend the 51st Annual Membership Luncheon hosted by the Resource Development Council for Alaska, Inc. today.

The event featured remarks from David Fotouhi, Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and brought together leaders from across Alaska’s resource development, business, and public sectors for an important discussion on the future of responsible development and environmental stewardship.

Thank you to RDC for convening another outstanding event and creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue on the policies and partnerships that help drive Alaska’s economy forward.

Get a new perspective on one of Alaska’s most important ports during our Harbor Tour aboard the Millennium Dawn and Millennium Falcon, courtesy of Matson.

These working tugboats play a critical role in escorting Matson's domestic and international containerships safely through Dutch Harbor, supporting the movement of goods and commerce throughout Alaska and beyond.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to experience the port from the water while learning about the maritime infrastructure, cargo operations, and seafood industry that drive Unalaska/Dutch Harbor's economy.

Join us June 24–25 for the Alaska Chamber's Community Outreach Trip and get an up-close look at the industries that keep Alaska connected.
