MFCC is a FREE clothing closet for children currently in foster care.

Christy's Legacy of Hope has spoiled us again with more AMAZING birthday bags for the kids! 🎂🎉 Each bag now includes a board game, making them even more fun!

They also put together the sweetest comfort bags for children who need a little extra love and comfort. 💕

We are so grateful for the time, and love you put into everything you do for children in care. Thank you for always thinking of them! 🥰💙

We are incredibly grateful for the massive donation of brand-new clothing she gave to the Michigan Foster Care Closet for our teen girls’ room! 👚✨

The generosity of local small businesses like Laurie’s makes such a difference. Our teen girls will have so many fun, stylish, and brand-new options to choose from when they visit the Closet. We are so thankful for her kindness and for thinking of the girls we serve. 🩷

And if you haven’t been to Chic Boutique yet, you need to stop in! 😍 We could’ve spent the entire day there trying on every single item! There was so much to choose from. It’s the perfect place to find unique and quality clothing while supporting a local small business. 🛍️

Sometimes, a few simple words can remind you why you do what you do.🥲

That is what happens when people choose to care.

Our volunteers give their time, their energy, and their hearts. They welcome children with kindness. They understand that sometimes the smallest moments of compassion can mean the absolute most.

And behind our volunteers is an entire community of people who believe in caring for one another.

✨ We may be called a foster care closet, but what we are really building is something so much bigger!

A community where people show up for people.

Where kindness is freely given.
Where there is room for everyone.
Where a child can walk through our doors and feel welcomed, respected, valued and cared for.
