Our first Candidate Visit Weekend of the fall is off to a memorable start! Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michael J. Borgschulte presented candidate Cameron Lyerly with a Letter of Assurance (LOA)!

There’s still time to experience a CVW for yourself this fall! Spend the weekend immersed in life at USNA, shadow a Midshipman, attend classes, explore the Yard, and see firsthand what the Naval Academy has to offer.

📣MONDAY MOTIVATION: FLEET APPLICANTS:

3/C Luccas Oliveira: Coming to the Naval Academy was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s given me opportunities I never thought I’d have and has helped me grow as a leader and as a person. My time in the fleet has been an advantage, and being here has given me a whole new perspective on leadership and the Navy.

If you’re thinking about applying, just do it. I almost didn’t because I wasn’t sure I’d get in, and I’m glad I took the chance. Don’t count yourself out—the worst they can say is no. If you get accepted, you’ll earn a degree, grow in ways you didn’t expect, and come back to the fleet better prepared to lead.
