🚧 Sharing an important construction alert from our colleagues at NCDOT. Crews will begin milling and paving work on Haywood Road Sunday night.

Crews will work from 8 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday nights with no work on Friday or Saturday nights. Lane closures will be necessary in certain blocks — not the entire corridor — during overnight operations.

This last major phase of the project should take about three months, weather permitting.

Please be alert and aware of your surroundings during this work.
