Consider donating a canned good for River Cities Harvest! Our Fire Department is teaming up with them to collect items over the next two weeks. You can drop off the following items inside the lobby at Central Fire Station:
- Canned meats, fruits and vegetables
- Protein or fruit bars
- Dried cereal or granola
- Peanut butter
- Ready-to-eat crackers

The Ashland Fire Department is teaming up with River Cities Harvest for a local food drive. Items needed include canned goods like meats, fruits, and vegetables; protein or fruit bars; dried cereal or granola; peanut butter; and ready-to-eat crackers.
Items may be dropped off at the Central Station located at 1021 Carter Avenue, Ashland for the next two weeks. A bin is located in the front lobby for your convenience.

🚧 Traffic Alerts! 🚧

⚠️15th Street from Wi******er Avenue to Carter Avenue and the alley from 14th-15th Street will be closed starting at 7:30AM on Tuesday, September 1 for a sewer repair.

⚠️Megan Neyer Way from Beech St. to 13th St. will be closed starting Wednesday, September 3 for a storm line replacement. This work is expected to take a couple days to complete.

⚠️There will be a temporary lane closure on Route 5 between Rose Rd. and Donta Rd. on Wednesday, September 2 for a water line repair.

On Wednesday, August 26, Central Park is hosting Ashland Blazer's All Comers Invitational Cross Country Meet. Over 700 runners are registered! 🤯The park will only be open to those attending the meet. There will be lots of runners and folks coming in to watch, so please expect some heavier traffic and use caution when driving in the area!

Thank you to Ms. Stacy Lyons and her art class at Crabbe Elementary for reminding us to only put rain down our storm drains! Ms. Lyons and her students did a wonderful job painting this mural. Be sure to look for it on your next walk around Central Park!

Carter Ave. Closure Update 🚧🚨
Thank you for your patience as crews continue to make necessary repairs in the area of Carter Avenue and 14th Street. Work will continue at that intersection over the next several days, and current plans are for paving to occur on Tuesday, August 25 to restore the roadway. Weather permitting, restoration will be complete and the road will be reopened for normal use on Wednesday, August 26.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation while crews work to minimize disruptions as much as possible.
