Tonight, at approximately 19:01, Department 1 was dispatched on the mutual aid assignment to Waverly for a working structure fire. Truck 7, and Squad 3 responded with full crews. Initial crews were met with heavy fire conditions. Department 1 assisted with fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul. As always, the department would like to thank our friends at North Towanda Fire & Rescue Department for standing by in our station, to cover any additional calls within the borough.
