A strong start to our 2026 Strategic Visit to Phoenix! ☀️🌵

Day 1 conversations explored how bold leadership, regional collaboration and long-term planning have helped transform Phoenix into one of the nation’s fastest-growing economic centers. From Mayor Kate Gallego’s insights on growth and the city’s future to discussions on economic development, workforce, infrastructure, transportation and public safety, attendees gained valuable perspectives on sustaining a thriving region.

We also explored Arizona’s defense innovation ecosystem and toured the Phoenix Bioscience Core, where partnerships between higher education, government and industry are advancing healthcare, research and technology.

Another milestone for Cobb’s aerospace industry! ✈️ Lockheed Martin just delivered the U.S. Navy’s first C-130J-30 Super Hercules for its future role as the E-130J Phoenix II. The aircraft is destined to become the future of Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO), the U.S. Navy’s airborne nuclear command‑and‑control support mission.
