The Cobb Chamber's Team Dobbins recently welcomed members of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners for a behind the scenes look at two of our region's key defense and aerospace assets.
The day began with a meeting and facility tour at Lockheed Martin's Marietta campus, where Commissioners heard directly from company leadership about the critical work happening in Cobb County and Lockheed's continued impact on our region.
The group then visited Dobbins Air Reserve Base, where they met with leadership from the 94th Airlift Wing, including Col. Diane Patton, Commander, 94th ALW, to learn more about the Wing’s mission, partnerships, and contributions to our community. The day concluded with a tour of a static C-130 aircraft, providing a closer look at the equipment and capabilities that support our nation’s defense.
