What happens when an emergency department needs to evolve without losing what already works?

For Christopher Hwang, MD, the answer wasn’t to start over. It was to strengthen what was already there.

Through ApolloMD’s physician recruiting, expanded clinical support, operational resources and collaboration across departments, his team was able to grow while maintaining its culture and local leadership.

Today, Dr. Hwang says the department continues to evolve while staying true to the culture they built together.

In his latest perspective, Dr. Hwang shares what made the transition successful, and how the right support can help an emergency department evolve while staying true to its foundation.
