To all our young people stepping onto college campuses and stepping into fall interviews - we are so proud of you!

Starting a new chapter or entering the professional world can be overwhelming, especially when trying to secure the right wardrobe on a budget. That’s why our 1st Impression program ensures our metro Atlanta youth have access to brand-new, high-quality business attire.

When you walk into the boardroom, the courtroom, or that dream interview, we want you to hold your head high, knowing you look the part and that a whole community is standing right behind you, cheering you on.

Help us keep our young leaders dressed for success as they build their futures! https://www.caring4others.org/our-programs/1st-impression

How fast these summer days fly by! ☀️ One day we’re cooling off, and the next, the cool fall breeze is right around the corner. At Caring For Others, late summer means one big thing: we are officially in prep mode for Christmas in September! 🎁✨

We believe every single child deserves to feel loved, celebrated, and remembered and no parent should have to worry about whether there will be joy under the tree. We start early so our metro Atlanta families can walk into the holiday season with peace of mind, dignity, and light.

We welcome anyone who can help us bring the magic this year -whether by volunteering your time or sponsoring a child’s smile. Together, we’re spreading joy early! ❤️

A huge thank you to the team at Focus Atlanta on CBS Atlanta for welcoming our COO, Jesse Webb, for an important conversation about the real struggles facing our working families.

As Jesse shared on air, inflation and rising costs are hitting every single part of daily life. From the grocery aisle to basic car repairs, our neighbors are out here working hard, putting in their 40 hours a week, and still wondering how they’re going to cover all the bases. It takes a unified community to make sure no family gets left behind.

We appreciate Focus Atlanta for giving us a platform to lift up these vital conversations. Check out the YouTube link to watch Jesse’s entire interview! https://youtu.be/pzkypxatdqA?si=vla3FRJlEU_gYmvx

Now that the school routine is in full swing, we want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible educators at Crawford Long Middle School. As we prepared to restock our school pantry, it was the teachers and staff who rolled up their sleeves alongside us to unload groceries and organize shelves.

They see our children’s needs firsthand every single day, and their dedication inspires us. Because of our faithful partners at Kroger, we are blessed to keep these shelves filled, bringing a Ray of Hope to over 800 local families.

To all of our teachers giving their all this school year: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are standing right beside you.

Big news! The 2027 International Poverty Forum Annual Assembly and Think Tank is officially heading to the Caribbean.

We are honored to partner with the government and people of Saint Lucia from March 19-21, 2027, to implement real solutions for food, housing, and economic empowerment.

True change requires collaboration. This working session will bring global leaders together to move past awareness and deliver true, measurable outcomes. More details and registration will be available in mid-October.

Educators truly do it all! 💙 Not only were they prepping classrooms for today's first day of school, but last week Long Middle School teachers also helped us unload boxes and stock the Ray of Hope food pantry. This on-campus pantry is all about giving families a hand up with dignity, right where they are. We are so grateful for our partners at Kroger for keeping these shelves full for our southwest Atlanta community. We hope everyone had a great first day back to class!

Summer in the South brings beautiful days, but it also brings severe storms and hurricane season.

When disaster strikes a community, families lose everything in the blink of an eye. We are built on taking action. Through our partnerships we are ready to roll out within days of a calamity to deliver clean water, food, clothing, and personal essentials straight to the hardest-hit neighborhoods.

We don't just send standard aid; we send brand-new items because people experiencing a tragedy deserve comfort and quality, not hand-me-downs. Let’s keep those facing storm recovery in our prayers this season.

We know we are in the middle of July, but behind the scenes at Caring For Others, we are already thinking about the fall. Our hearts are preparing for one of our favorite days of the entire year: Christmas in September!

The holiday season can bring so much financial anxiety for parents, especially single mothers trying to make ends meet after the back-to-school rush. We start our holiday giving early to ease that burden, distributing thousands of brand-new toys and athletic shoes to area families. We do this to make sure our children experience pure joy, free from the stress of financial hardship.

It takes months of coordination and packing to get ready for a day this big. A huge shoutout to our volunteers and warehouse crew who make sure no child goes without a present. We see your hard work! 🧡

There is true dignity in quality, and we don't believe in giving our community leftovers. We loaded up 150 of our families with 65,000 lbs of produce and groceries, and paired it with 150 gas cards to keep your commutes moving forward. Seeing the pure relief on a mother's face when her burden gets just a little lighter is exactly why we do this work.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

It's hurricane season once again, and we're ready to move into action if needed.

From helping our neighbors in Augusta replace what devastating storms took away last year, to sending over 18,000 brand-new essential items to Jamaican families rebuilding after a crisis, we stand right beside our community until every home is whole again.
