Commissioner Sid Miller shares today's : Not all white wines come from white grapes!

Some white wines, such as Blanco varietals of Cabernet and Sangiovese, are white wines derived from red grapes. This is done by winemakers removing the skins before fermentation to keep the color light and golden!

Have you read one of our posts and seen the word "Terroir"? This term is French for a complete natural environment in which a particular wine is made, including factors such as the soil, topography, climate and so much more! Some would even say the viticulturist and winemakers are a part of a vineyard's terroir.
