Crystal has previous experience with the Lake Worth Police Department and Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office. She currently holds the Vice President position for the Texas Association of Property and Evidence Inventory Technicians (TAPEIT).

Kevin Rogers has served this department and community for the past 26 years. Throughout his law enforcement career, Rogers has demonstrated unwavering commitment, leadership, and a passion for the town that raised him. Rogers earned a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from McMurry University. He graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2024 and holds a graduate certificate from the Leadership, Executive and Administrative Development (LEAD) Program from Texas Christian University.

We are proud to recognize this well-earned achievement and look forward to the continued leadership and vision Chief Rogers has for our department.

Aliens👾 are not invading Azle, but Atmos Energy crews are!

White SUV's with mounted mobile leak detection units with flashing lights and labeled with an Atmos Energy logo or "Utility Contractor" will be driving through Azle as part of Atmos' safety survey of their natural gas distribution system. You will see them driving slowly in the street and alley at night, which ensures an accurate survey of our gas system.

Darren, a 58-year-old white male, was last seen on the morning of June 1, 2026 near the 3900 block of E Hwy 199 in Springtown, TX. Darren is 5’9”, 263 pounds, has brown/gray hair and hazel eyes. Unknown clothing description.
