🚧 WATER SERVICE UPDATE – DELAWARE TRAIL 🚧

The City is performing an emergency water line tie-in on Delaware Trail between Osage Trail and Navajo Trail.

πŸ’§ Tuesday, June 30, 2026: Water service in the affected area will be restored once today's work is completed.

πŸ’§ Wednesday, July 1, 2026: A temporary water service interruption will be necessary to complete the final water line tie-in work. Service will be restored as soon as the work is completed.

Motorists and residents should expect crews and equipment in the area and are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE – SHAWNEE TRAIL & NAVAJO TRAIL INTERSECTION 🚧

Please be advised that, due to the extensive work required and the necessary concrete curing time, the closure of the Shawnee Trail and Navajo Trail intersection will be extended until approximately midday on Monday, June 29, 2026.

The intersection will remain closed to all through traffic during this time to allow crews to safely complete the project and ensure the new concrete reaches the required strength before reopening the roadway to the public.

Motorists are encouraged to continue using alternate routes and should expect traffic adjustments in the surrounding area.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we complete these important infrastructure improvements and work to safely reopen the intersection as soon as possible.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – SHAWNEE TRAIL PROJECT 🚧

As the Shawnee Trail Improvement Project nears completion, the intersection of Navajo Trail and Shawnee Trail will be closed beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to allow for concrete removal and replacement operations.

During construction, the intersection will be completely closed to all through traffic, including overnight hours. There will be no access through the intersection until the work is completed and the newly placed concrete has fully cured.

A detour route will be provided, with cross traffic expected to be redirected to Pawnee Trail.

The closure is anticipated to last approximately four (4) days, weather permitting, to allow for concrete removal, replacement, and the required curing time before the roadway can safely reopen. Please note that the reopening date may be adjusted based on concrete testing results.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and expect delays in the surrounding area.
