Welcome to the CT Family!

Hi, I’m Emily Ball, and I am entering my 6th year in education, all of which were with Azle. I am also an Azle alumni. Go Hornets!

In my free time I love spending time with my puppy, hanging out with friends and family, and participating in community theatre. I am so excited to join the Cross Timbers team, and start this new adventure!

STAAR end-of-course & STAAR grades 3-8 assessment results are now available. Parents can access their child’s results by logging into their Skyward Family Access account. (Science results will not be released until July 31.)

After logging in, you will see a Tile labeled “TEXAS ASSESSMENTS”. Within this Tile, click on the “Texas Assessments Results Website” link. This will take you directly to your child’s STAAR results, which will include detailed information for each test question, identifying your child’s strengths as well as areas where your child may need additional support.

Welcome to the CT Family!

I'm Mrs. Suanne Wilson, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th Grade Reading and Social Studies to our amazing Cross Timbers Hornets this year! I’ve spent most of my life finding joy in teaching, and I can't wait to partner with you all for a year filled with learning and fun.

When I'm not at school, my life is beautifully full! My husband John and I have been married for 34 years and have four children, their spouses, and 11 energetic grandchildren. We love going on adventures, kayaking, swimming, and camping together. On quieter days, I love to cross-stitch and read historical fiction.

So looking forward to a wonderful year, and I can't wait to meet you!

Welcome to the CT Family!

I can’t believe I’m starting my 10th year in education and my 4th year with Azle ISD! This district truly feels like home—my husband works at Azle High School, and our family is fully bleeding green this year. We’ve had an absolute blast this summer bouncing between the water park, the lake, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, but are so ready for the school year. This year is extra special for us. Our daughter has been at Cross Timbers since Kindergarten, and now my son is joining the family for Pre-K! This will be the first time I have been on campus with them. I am beyond excited to start this new journey at Cross Timbers and be a part of one of the absolute best campuses in Azle ISD. When I’m not teaching or chasing the kiddos, you can usually find me nose-deep in a psychological thriller or listening to a true crime podcast. Here’s to an amazing school year! Let's go, Hornets!

I’m going into my 11th year in education. I graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies. I have 1 daughter and 2 dogs with my husband and in my free time I enjoy playing with my daughter, reading, and spending time with my family.

Coming from Liberty Elementary, this will be my fourth year in education. I went to Azle schools and am very excited to have the opportunity to positively impact students the way my teachers did me. Proud supporter of dress-up days and a dog dad of 2! In my free time I enjoy hiking, watching movies, and spending quality time with friends and family!

Welcome to the CT Family!

My name is Monica Brown, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team as a 5th grade math teacher. This will be my second year in Azle. I’m originally from West, TX and am a proud graduate of Texas Tech University—Wreck ’Em! This year marks my fourth in education, and I’m passionate about fostering both academic growth and meaningful relationships in the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, and watching Texas Tech sporting events. I also love spending quality time with my significant other, family, and friends. I share my home with my playful labradoodle, Daisy, who keeps my life interesting! I’m excited to be part of the CT community and can’t wait to get this school year started!
