The Tunbridge School is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc. (ABI) and is part of BCPSS. The school was founded in 2010 and is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc.

The Tunbridge School is an elementary/middle school in Govans, serving students in pre-k through 8th grade. (ABI), which also operates The Belair-Edison School. “Afya” is a Swahili word for health. At Tunbridge and all of the ABI schools, we focus on the intellectual, physical and social health of our students.

The Annual Tunbridge Running Festival = Fitness, Fun and Fundraising!

If you donate, you help our students raise funds to support field trips, community events, and staff appreciation events.

Today we celebrate National Custodian Appreciation Day. We can't thank Mr. D, Mr. Goldie, and Mr. Gross enough for all that they do to take care of our spaces here at Tunbridge!

Today, Ms. Shuman, Ms. Lipsey, and Ms. Embry's classes took a trip to Great Kids Farm. They learned how food is grown, visited with animals, completed a scavenger hunt, worked together to build a contraption to catch a fish, and followed a map from a stream all the way to the Atlantic Ocean!

Fourth quarter has been full of field trips. Our kindergarteners explored Cylburn Arboretum, our seventh graders visited Guppy Gultch, and Ms. Embry and Mr. Solliday’s students hiked around Oregon Ridge. We love seeing our students take their learning outside of the classroom!
