Join us at the library for our last program in our craft series that will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s founding with different historical themed crafts! Designed for all ages, you will learn how to weave! You will learn how to make a loom out of cardboard, string, and popsicle sticks. Then, you will use yarn to weave a design and make a coaster or a turtle! This craft requires fine motor skills to hold and weave yarn, and tying string when necessary.

Free community pop‑up hosted by the Wildflower Misfit Collective!

Representatives from the Collective will be onsite providing clothing, shoes, school supplies, and hygiene items at no cost to families. All items are free, no requirements, and open to anyone who could use support. A great way to get your family ready for the new school year!

The After School Kids program is designed for children in grades 4-6. Registration is required, and first-time families must meet Miss Diane before the child can attend. Thursdays from 6 to 6:45 pm (no session on 8/27)! Join Thienne Rissatto, our Library Assistant - Multilingual Learners Coordinator, for our revamped English Conversation Circle program. Thienne is a native Portuguese speaker, who is also fluent in Spanish and English and is learning Italian!

Practice speaking English with other adult English language learners in a relaxed, comfortable place, and meet new friends as we learn by talking together. If you can speak English but want to improve your English conversation skills, this is the group for you! This is not an English class, but a place to practice speaking to become more fluent in the English language.

No registration necessary for this free program. Just show up!

TONIGHT!! Join Logan Amaral, Director of Kekeli Drum Dance and Founder of Spread the Light Music and Dance, for an evening of drumming! Logan first joined the library at our Multicultural Festival and was a big hit!

On the second Wednesday for the next few months Logan will be leading this drumming program at the library as a Fundraiser for the Friends of the Library. Each session is $15 to participate (cash only) with $5 of the fee going to the Friends of the Library! Open to all ages, but anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult (the adult does not have to participate if they do not wish to).
