This August, we are raising funds to provide assistance to ALIRP Partner families who have to pay for emergency medical services, health exams required for immigration cases, copays, prescriptions, and more.

As of today, we have reached over 60% of our fundraising goal for our Care Can't Wait Campaign!

We are so close to reaching our goal of $1,000 for the month of August. Monday, August 31st, is the last day of the campaign and the last day to donate to this cause!

Every donation you make allows ALIRP to take some of the financial burden off of our Partner families. If you haven't already, please consider making a donation to ALIRP Partner families in pursuit of healthier, safer, and brighter futures!

This week we are urging Congress to restore refugee admissions, defend asylum, protect TPS, and end travel bans. ALIRP supports the rights and dignity of ALL immigrants including refugees, asylum seekers, and others seeking humanitarian protection in the U.S.

Help ALIRP raise $1,000 in August to help keep our Partner families healthy.
Although our families are in the U.S. with legal status, many are uninsured or underinsured. This means that they may have to pay out of pocket for unexpected emergency room visits, prescriptions, doctor's visits, and more.

On Saturday, July 11th, ALIRP hosted our first Youth Soccer Clinic! We had 15 youth participate, ranging from ages 6 to 18. ⚽

ALIRP Charity Bingo Night last Wednesday was a success! It was a great event, complete with a US World Cup win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We received over $200 from Bingo cards and donations, plus proceeds from drink sales! Thanks to everyone who came out to support Alabama Interfaith Refugee Partnership (ALIRP), and to Cahaba Brewing Company for always being such generous hosts! Keep an eye out for future ALIRP events at Cahaba and elsewhere!
