Attention educators! Join us and Montana Historical Society for a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 designed to help you explore this year’s National History Day (NHD) theme using hands-on primary sources. This session will be held at the beautiful Chateau De Mores State Historic Site in Medora on Oct. 16.

Participants will get practical strategies, classroom-ready activities, and support for implementing NHD projects.

Today marks the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, a day that will forever be remembered.

As I'm sitting here trying to find the words to say, I think back to where I was when I heard the horrible news. I was an 8th grader sitting in class like any other day...until it wasn't. Someone came rushing into our room in a panic and told our teacher we'd been attacked and he needed to turn on the news. I will never forget that day, the lives that were lost, or the impact on our country.

We invite you to share your story of where you were when you heard the news as we remember that day 25 years later.
