Lester Ross was a willing volunteer in our City. He was a great help at our Boone Pioneer Senior Citizens Center, and will be sorely missed by all of us. He passed from this life on February 11th, at the age of 77, and his funeral will be at 10 AM, Saturday, February 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church. He was born April 5th, 1948, graduated from BHS in 1967, enlisted in the Army, serving in Da Nang, Vietnam from 1968 to 1970, later serving in Kuwait during Desert Storm, spending a total of 33 years in Military Service. Left to mourn his passing are his sons, Joseph, Dustin, and Nathan, their wives, his six grandchildren, and his special friend Jane Brunette. He will receive Military Honors at the gravesite.
