📢 PHARMACY UPDATE – DEXCOM SENSORS

Rocky Boy Health Center Pharmacy would like to share an important update for patients using Dexcom sensors.

If your sensor pairs successfully with your receiver or phone but fails during the warm-up period, please contact Dexcom Customer Support directly. Dexcom will replace the failed sensor at no cost.

🕐 Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Please keep your sensor applicator or product box, as you will need the serial number when speaking with Dexcom.

If you run out of sensors while waiting for your replacement, our Pharmacy is happy to provide a replacement sensor.

🌿 Positive Parenting Conference 2026
A Celebration of Culture & Community

From August 17–19, the Rocky Boy Health Center Prevention Department and Stone Child College Extension Office hosted the Positive Parenting Conference, bringing together parents, caregivers, and professionals to explore culturally responsive approaches to raising strong, healthy families.

The conference highlighted an important truth: there is no single way to parent. Positive parenting is shaped by culture, tradition, beliefs, and lived experience and honoring that diversity is key to supporting children's emotional, social, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Through open dialogue and shared strategies, attendees explored how positive parenting can:
✅ Strengthen family relationships and build trust
✅ Create supportive environments where children feel respected and understood
✅ Foster deep connection to Chippewa Cree tribal identity

🦌🌿 2026 Traditional Foods Hunting Program Registration is Almost Here! 🌿🦌

The Rocky Boy Health Center Diabetes Department is now accepting registrations for the Produce Prescription Pilot Program (P4) Traditional Foods Hunting Program beginning Monday, August 10, 2026.

This program helps support access to traditional foods while promoting healthy lifestyles through hunting opportunities.

📅 Registration Begins: Monday, August 10, 2026
📍 Location: Rocky Boy Health Center – Diabetes Department

Please Note:
✅ The hunter must register in person.
✅ Each hunter must complete their own paperwork.
❌ No proxies will be accepted.

🏹 Available Hunting Opportunities:
🦌 Deer (Archery & Rifle)
🫎 Elk (Archery & Rifle)

If you plan to participate this hunting season, stop by the Diabetes Department beginning August 10 to complete your required registration paperwork.
