π Celebrating EMS Week 2026 Improving Outcomes Together π
National EMS Week 2026 was celebrated from May 17 through May 23, 2026.
EMS Week is a time to recognize and honor the dedicated Emergency Medical Services professionals who are on the front lines of emergency care every day. Whether responding to medical emergencies, accidents, or providing lifesaving care when it is needed most, our EMS team plays a vital role in keeping our communities safe and healthy.
As part of this year's EMS Week celebration, our EMS Department visited both Box Elder School and Rocky Boy School to provide a First Aid Training Crash Course for junior high and high school students. Students learned important first aid skills, gained hands-on experience, and practiced techniques that could one day help save a life. The excitement, participation, and willingness to learn from students at both schools made the training a great success.
Teaching youth about emergency preparedness and basic first aid helps build confidence, encourages community involvement, and empowers the next generation to respond when someone needs help. It was wonderful to see students actively engaged, asking questions, and practicing their new skills alongside our EMS professionals.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our EMS Department for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving our communities not only during emergencies but also through education and prevention efforts. Your hard work, compassion, and willingness to share your knowledge make a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve.
This year's EMS Week theme, "Improving Outcomes Together," reminds us that strong partnerships between EMS professionals, healthcare providers, schools, and community members help create healthier and safer communities for everyone.
Thank you to our EMS team for all that you do. We are proud to celebrate and recognize you during EMS Week and throughout the year. β€οΈπ
