Something special is happening this upcoming Wednesday. 🎬

Kyler Ernst has created a short film about Lighthouse Ranch — and you’re invited to the premiere.

Lighthouse Ranch is working to fill one of the most urgent gaps in our community: critical mental health care for teens in crisis.

Right now, young people who survive a su***de attempt in Gallatin County often wait 4–8 weeks before seeing a therapist. Lighthouse Ranch is changing that — bringing residential post-crisis care, outpatient therapy, and family support right here to Southwest Montana.

This film tells that story. And it’s one worth seeing.

📍 Lighthouse Ranch Campus — 8977 Dry Creek Road, Belgrade from 4-6pm

After the screening, guests are invited to tour the 30+ acre ranch and learn more about what’s being built on this campus for our kids and families.

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week — and we're still thinking about ours. 💛

To every teacher across our Head Start program: thank you. What you do goes far beyond lesson plans and circle time. You are often the first trusted adult outside of home that a child truly knows. You show up — every single day — for the youngest, most impressionable hearts in our community.

The research is clear: the earliest years of a child's life are the most formative. 🌱

Thank you so much for Giving Big! Because of your generous donations we raised just under $100,000 that will go towards keeping this community housed, fed, and supported.

Each of our sixty programs serves a unique and vital purpose in providing our neighbors a way to find stability, health, and empowerment whether it’s providing free transportation for a senior, a healthy meal for a family, or education for a child an opportunity to rent an affordable home your donation helps a wide array of people find their way. Thank you thank you thank you.

The Hidden Creek Apartments are a partnership between HRDC, United Housing Partners, Gallatin County, and the City of Bozeman. The development will bring 182 income-restricted apartments to Bozeman and is a key step toward creating a new neighborhood with both rental and future homeownership opportunities.

On Friday, we broke ground on the project!

As our CEO, Heather Grenier, puts it, "At HRDC, we see more than 5,000 families each year who don’t have food, can’t pay for medications, and can’t pay their utility bill because they’ve put their entire pay check to their rent…There are so many people struggling and this gives us another opportunity to house families that need it most."

To afford to live here you need to be making a minimum $100,000 a year...that means 30% of the people living and working here are left behind. Affordable housing projects like Hidden Creek help bridge that gap.

🌟 Give Big 2026 starts TONIGHT at 6PM — and this one's for Billy.

Billy found a home at Housing First Village and he found more than four walls and a roof, he found stability, community and a real shot at what comes next. 💛

Stories like Billy's are why we do this work. And they're why Give Big matters.

For just 24 hours — tonight at 6PM through tomorrow at 6PM — your donation becomes something real:
🏠 Helps someone like Billy access safe, affordable housing
🛒 Stocks two full weeks of groceries for a family in need
🍽️ Feeds a family of four
🚗 Gets a senior to their doctor's appointment

⭐️Give Big 2026 is almost here!⭐️

For 24 hours only — 6pm April 30 to 6pm May 1— it’s time to show up for Southwest Montana.

🏠🍞💪🏽For 50 years, HRDC has provided vital resources for members of this community. Food on the table. A roof overhead. A ride to the doctor. A future worth believing in. And now we’re building the next 50.

When you Give Big, you’re not just making a donation — you’re handing someone a lifeline. A senior stays warm. A family eats. A veteran finds shelter.

💛 Here’s what your gift does:
👉 $25 keeps a senior safe and warm at home
👉 $50 feeds a family of four
👉 $100 stocks two weeks of groceries
👉 $500 provides 3 days of care at our shelter

This is your moment. One day. Real impact. Lasting change.

📅 Mark your calendar.
🕕 Set your alarm for 6pm on April 30.
💛 Then give like it matters — because it does.
