EMS Week 2026 Challenge Winners Announced! 🏆

Leading up to EMS Week, from March 1 through May 23, teams across the Priority Ambulance family of companies participated in our Social Media Engagement Challenge, sharing the stories, people, and moments that make EMS so special.

From crew spotlights and award presentations to community outreach events, wellness activities, interagency partnerships, and team celebrations, the challenge highlighted the dedication and impact of our teams across the organization.

Thanks to the incredible participation of our operations, we received a remarkable 324 submissions showcasing the compassion, teamwork, professionalism, and service that define EMS.

🚑 Ambucare EMS, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, continues taking steps to enhance the safety and care of our patients — especially our youngest ones. 👶💙

After completing many hours of online training, our team submitted a request through the State Office of EMS and was proudly presented with five brand new ACR (Ambulance Child Restraint) kits.

These state-of-the-art pediatric restraint systems are designed to provide safer transport for children during ambulance transport and represent another investment in high-quality patient care and provider preparedness.

At Ambucare, we remain committed to surpassing expectations by equipping our crews with the latest tools and technology to better serve our communities every day. 🚑👏

Ambucare EMS, a member of the family of companies, is proud to continue investing in the latest technology to better serve our communities. 🚑

Our crews are currently training on the new Lifepak 35 cardiac monitors — one of the most advanced monitor/defibrillator systems available in prehospital emergency care today.

With this updated technology, our providers now have the ability to perform more extensive EKGs in the field, including right-sided and posterior EKGs, and transmit them directly to local hospitals to help pre-alert care teams before arrival.

This means:
✅ Faster recognition of critical cardiac events
✅ Faster hospital notifications
✅ Faster treatment decisions
✅ Better outcomes for the patients and communities we serve

Ambucare EMS is proud to be one of only a few services in our region with these capabilities, and we look forward to continuing to raise the standard of care for our patients every day. 💙

We are proud to share that Chris Hancock, Tyler Rundle, Mackenzie Holt, and Lisa Lewis have successfully completed the State of Georgia EMS Preceptor Course.

This accomplishment reflects Ambucare EMS’ continued commitment to growth, education, and excellence in patient care. By investing in leadership and mentorship, these team members are helping strengthen the future of EMS for both our students and new hires.
