From start to finish, letter carriers across the country showed what service and dedication look like—delivering mail, collecting donations, and helping fight hunger in the communities they proudly serve every day.
Today, carriers like our members from Southeast Pennsylvania Merged Branch 725, Garden Grove, CA Branch 1100, Kansas City, MO Branch 30, Louisville, KY Branch 14, and Bloomington, IL Branch 522 went above and beyond to help make the Food Drive a success. Their hard work, along with the generosity of neighbors who left food by their mailboxes, will help stock local food pantries and support families in need.
Thank you to everyone who participated today—from the community members who gave, to the letter carriers who picked up donations along their routes and the volunteers who stepped up to help out!

Because of your generosity and hard work, our shelves will be stocked with food that will help local families and neighbors in need. From the letter carriers who helped collect donations, to the volunteers who sorted and packed items, to every person who left a bag of food by their mailbox — you made a real difference in our community.

For over 30 years, letter carriers have proudly led the largest one-day food drive in America—and this year’s drive is just ONE WEEK away! On May 9, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food donations by your mailbox, and your letter carrier will take care of the rest. All donations stay right here in your community. Together, we can !

We need help for this weekend's food drive on Saturday, May 9th!

This is a big drive for the food pantry! Last year the Stamp Out Hunger drive brought in over 6,000 lbs of food! The BAFP serves over 1,000 people a week in our local community, and this drive is crucial to helping our neighbors with food insecurities. We need help sorting and storing the incoming donations at the food pantry, and would be grateful for any helping hands we could get! 🙌 🙌 🙌

Walmart and Sam's Club have launched the 13th annual Fight Hunger. Spark Change campaign in partnership with Feeding America. Through May 3, 25 participating suppliers at Walmart and 8 participating suppliers at Sam's Club will support network food banks with a donation for each product purchased.

Customers are also encouraged to round up their total or make a donation when checking out in store and online. All donations will stay in the community and will support the local Feeding America food bank- Good Shepherd Food Bank for the state of Maine. Thank you Sam's Club and Walmart!
