City of Bryan Police Department is asking drivers to avoid southbound SH 6 from Woodville Road to Tabor Road due to an ongoing investigation. Traffic is being diverted at Woodville Road. Expect delays and use alternate routes.

College Station Police Department is asking drivers to avoid the area on the northbound SH 6 feeder road in front of the Cinemark Movie Theater. They are currently diverting traffic back onto Harvey Road and the exit ramp to University Drive is currently closed. Please use alternate routes.

Heavy law enforcement presence in the northbound feeder how Hwy 6 in front in Cinemark Movie Theater.

Please avoid the area. All northbound traffic on the feeder is being diverted back onto Harvey Rd and the exit ramp to University Dr is shut down.

🚧Big 6 Full Closure – June 23🚧UPDATED

There will be a full overnight closure of the southbound mainlanes between Martin Luther King/Old Reliance Road and Harvey Road with the full closure beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, until 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

🕛Please note that entrance ramp closures will begin at 7:30 p.m.

All traffic must exit through the William J. Bryan Parkway exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Harvey Road. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps just north of Martin Luther King/Old Reliance Road, William J. Parkway, Briarcrest Drive, and University Drive will be closed.

🚧There will be an additional single-lane closure:
Southbound mainlane right lane closure will be closed in two steps to set traffic barrier:
- Step 1: The southbound mainlanes right lane will be closed just north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway to the southbound Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive exit ramp. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramp north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and the Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive exit ramp will be closed during this step. Traffic may exit through the Harvey Mitchell Parkway exit ramp to access Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive. The entrance ramp north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and the Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive exit ramp will reopen prior to the beginning of Step 2.
- Step 2: The southbound mainlane right lane will be closed from just south of the Texas Avenue exit ramp to Texas Avenue. Additionally, the southbound Rock Prairie Road exit ramp will be closed during this step. Southbound traffic may exit through the Texas Avenue exit ramp to access Rock Prairie Road and Barron Road.

All northbound traffic must exit through the Briarcrest Drive exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just south of Briarcrest Drive. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramp just south of University Drive will be closed.

🚧Additional closures:
- The south to north turnaround and north to south turnaround will be closed at the SH 6 and Harvey Mitchell Parkway intersection to set traffic barrier. Additionally, the Harvey Mitchell Parkway eastbound left turn only lane will be closed.
- The southbound entrance ramp just north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway will be closed for regrading. Traffic may re-enter the southbound maninlanes through the ramp at the Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive traffic signal.

- The southbound entrance ramp just north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway will be closed to allow for median grading. Traffic may re-enter the southbound mainlanes through the exit ramp at the Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive traffic signal.
