UF/IFAS Emeritus Faculty and gardening expert Tom MacCubbin shares helpful information for Central Florida gardeners as we transition into September.
September is a great time to refresh garden beds, plant for the fall season, monitor lawns for insect activity, check irrigation systems, and divide or rejuvenate overgrown perennials and bulbs. UF/IFAS also recommends planting herbs, vegetables, and colorful annuals suited for Florida’s early fall conditions.
