The ocean can be a…. ouch, what was that?! During the first webinar of the 2026 Florida SEE Webinar Series, you will learn all about the science of stinging saltwater organisms in Florida. After this presentation, viewers will be able to identify some common stinging culprits, learn sting prevention/first aid and find out why they sting in the first place! Reasons why critters sting varies from capturing prey to defense, and the mechanisms can be as interesting as the diversity of critters themselves.
