A huge thank you to United Financial Credit Union for donating a Carter Kit to the Albee Township Fire Department! ❤️🚒

This bag is filled with tools and resources that can help provide comfort and support to individuals with autism or other special needs during an emergency situation. It is an incredible resource for our department to have available when responding to calls in our community.

We truly appreciate United Financial for thinking of our department and making this donation possible. And a big thank you to our firefighters who took the time to come up to the station last night to receive the kit and represent our department!

We are very grateful for the continued support of our community. ❤️🧑‍🚒

🏆🚒 FIRST PLACE… AGAIN! 🚒🏆
We’re starting to think our guys just don’t know how to lose this year! 😂
Last night, some of our Albee firefighters headed over to Taymouth Township Fire Department for their Water Volleyball event. This was our first time being invited to participate, and apparently we decided to make our first appearance count — bringing home FIRST PLACE! 🥇💦🚒
A huge thank you to Taymouth Township Fire Department for inviting us out and putting on such a fun event. We had a great time competing, laughing, and spending the evening with our fellow firefighters.
Another trophy for Albee! 🏆 We’re pretty proud of these guys!

One of our favorite visits is back! ❤️🚒
We were so happy to welcome Community Ties South back to the Albee Fire Department for another fun-filled day at the station!
There were fire trucks to explore, hoses to spray, plenty of laughs, and of course a few future firefighters in the making. 😉 Seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces is something our crew looks forward to every year.
We’re proud to serve our community in more ways than one, and days like this are a pretty great reminder of what “community” is all about.
Thank you, Community Ties South, for coming to hang out with us again this year. We hope you had as much fun as we did! ❤️

🏆🚒 WE BROUGHT THE TROPHY HOME! 🚒🏆
Albee Township Fire Department took home the WIN at the Fireman’s Challenge at the Saginaw County Fair this morning! 💪🔥
We had a great time competing and are pretty proud to be bringing the trophy back home to Albee Township! 🏆
A huge THANK YOU to Don Felipe’s for providing lunch after the competition 🌮 and to Redmond’s for the generous $100 gift cards! We truly appreciate the support of our local businesses and community.
Great job to everyone who competed today, and thanks to the Saginaw County Fair for another great Fireman’s Challenge!

The Albee Township Fire Department is proud to support Cruising for Ben! Ben is the son of one of the Firefighters on our team. 💜 Please join us on Saturday, August 29th from 12:00–5:00 PM at Albee Hall for a family-friendly benefit car show to help Ben attend life-changing intensive therapy. There will be show cars and trucks, fire trucks on display, live music, food, ice cream, a silent auction, games, and more! Every share helps us reach more people. We hope to see you there!

Behind every fire scene is a firefighter carrying more than just gear.

This photo was taken today at the Crystal Lake Apartments in Swartz Creek, where firefighters worked tirelessly to battle a devastating three-alarm apartment fire.

According to officials, 12 nearby apartment units are considered a total loss due to fire and smoke damage, leaving multiple families displaced. The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and Genesee County Emergency Management Division were also on scene, providing assistance and support to residents affected by the fire.

While the flames may be out, the emotional weight often remains. This powerful image captures a firefighter taking a quiet moment after the intense response. We don't know exactly what they witnessed or what they're feeling, but it's a reminder that first responders are human too.

They run toward danger when everyone else is running away. They work through extreme heat, exhaustion, and heartbreaking situations to protect complete strangers.

Please keep the displaced residents, this firefighter, and all of the first responders who answered today's fire in your thoughts. Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to serving your community. ❤️🚒

🏆 THE TROPHY CAME HOME! 🏆
Our crew brought home the win at this year’s Water Hockey Match against the other local fire departments! 💪🚒💦
There was plenty of competition, teamwork, and friendly trash talk—but in the end, Albee Township Fire Department came out on top!
Great job to everyone who competed, and thank you to all the departments who came out and made it such a fun event. We’ll be keeping this trophy safe… at least until next year! 😏🏆

Our firefighters had a great time yesterday at the Fly-In Pancake Breakfast! We brought out the trucks for kids to explore and had fun connecting with everyone. Mark your calendars for next year—it's a fantastic family event!

Last night, a tornado touched down on Bishop Rd. in the 10,000 block, causing significant damage to several homes in our community. At this time, we are incredibly grateful to report that only minor injuries have been confirmed.

We ask that everyone please continue to steer clear of the area to allow emergency crews and utility workers the space they need to safely continue cleanup and restoration efforts.

In moments like this, you truly see what makes a community strong. Departments and agencies from all over came together without hesitation—working side by side through the night to help those in need. That kind of teamwork, dedication, and heart is something we are proud to be a part of.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Tri Township, Maple Grove, Spaulding, Bridgeport, Blumfield, and Hazelton Fire Departments, along with Twin Township Ambulance, Saginaw County Road Commission, Consumers Energy, and Saginaw County Central Dispatch as well as Saginaw County Coordination for their assistance and support.
