🏃‍♂️💛 HORNETS REGIONAL RECAP + SECTIONAL QUALIFIERS! 💛🏃‍♀️

The Cadott Hornets Track & Field team traveled to Colfax on Tuesday for the Division 3 Regional. After a storm rolled in and postponed the meet, the team returned yesterday to finish their events!

Qualifiers now head to Marathon tomorrow, May 29, competing for a chance to punch their ticket to the State Track & Field Championships in La Crosse on June 5–6.

Looking to learn new moves, make friends, and build confidence? The Cadott Dance Team is hosting a Summer Dance Camp, and no experience is necessary!

Timothy Bauer, 8th grade

He truly shines during sporting activities and band and is always eager to participate and give his best effort. 🌞 The Sunshine Award — Dan Yeager!

There are people who do their job… and then there are people who pour their whole heart into a school community. Mr. Yeager is absolutely one of those people.

Every single day, he shows students what it means to believe in themselves, work hard, and care deeply about others. Through quick hallway conversations, encouragement during class, or simply showing up for kids day after day, Mr. Yeager reminds students that they are stronger, more capable, and more important than they sometimes realize.

He has a gift for making students feel seen, valued, and supported and our school is brighter because of him. 🌟

A group of students spent part of their lunch playing hacky sack and Chief Bowman even joined in on the fun! It’s moments like these that help build positive relationships, strengthen school community, and remind us how important connection and movement are during the school day.👏🏽

A little behind-the-scenes look at graduation day prep! 🎓✨

Before the Class of 2026 officially walks the stage for real, seniors spend time practicing their timing, perfecting the graduation walk, and getting ready for the big moment. Our band students were also hard at work rehearsing the music that helps make graduation such a memorable celebration. Students and staff will likely be caught humming “Pomp and Circumstance” all weekend! 🎶

It’s exciting to see everything coming together as we prepare to celebrate the incredible Class of 2026! 💛🖤🐝

The Cadott Hornets Softball team picked up a 14–1 win over Owen‑Withee in 5 innings. 🥎

On the mound, Kennedy Nerdrum delivered a career night with 10 strikeouts in just 5 innings. At the plate, she added a 2/4 performance with two singles and 2 RBI.

A talented group of freshmen stepped up as well:

• Riley Harvey went 2/3
• Kollyns Zastrow went 1/2
• Brooklyn Hladilek went 1/2

It was a strong showing on both sides of the ball for the Hornets. Next up, Regis at home in Round 1 of the playoffs! 🔥👏🏻
