We need YOU! 💙

The Voluntary Action Center is gearing up for some exciting (and much-needed!) upgrades to our thrift store, and we could use some extra helping hands to make it happen!

We're looking for volunteers who:
💪 Can lift heavy items
🧹 Don't mind getting a little dirty
❤️ Want to make a direct impact in our community

Volunteer Dates:
📅 Saturday, August 1
📅 Monday, August 3
📅 Thursday, August 6
📅 Friday, August 7

Whether you can give a few hours or stay the whole day, every helping hand makes a difference. These upgrades will help us better serve our community, and every dollar our thrift store earns goes right back into supporting the programs and services offered by the Voluntary Action Center.

GOODWILL OF NORTH GEORGIA TO HOLD ‘SECOND CHANCE JOB FAIR’ THIS MONDAY: Goodwill of North Georgia to hold the “Second Chance Job Fair & Resource Event” this Monday, April 27th.

Protecting our planet starts with you! For Earth Day, we encourage all Georgians to do these 10 simple things to help make a difference.

This mission is especially important to our agency due to the long-term effects that climate change has on weather patterns. Significant weather events have and will continue to become more frequent, along with more frequent and intense heat waves, increases in ocean and freshwater temperatures, frost-free-days, heavy downpours, floods, sea level rise, droughts and wildfires.
