Our small community library has grown in patrons, collection, technology and vision over the past 23 years that we have been located at 501 South Oak Street. To better reflect our mission to serve all residents of the county and our commitment to be a 21st century library, we have been renamed Moniteau County Library @ Wood Place. We house over 20,000 items in our collection, which includes books, movies, magazines, and more. We also offer ebooks and audiobooks through our partnership with Missouri Libraries 2 Go. We offer free educational programs for children, such as our Early Literacy Program, and we also provide free computer and wifi access.
