In order to ensure that these tools remain supportive and helpful places for everyone to participate, we have created some guidelines for participation. Just like we teach our students, we encourage everyone to be civil, constructive, respectful, and responsible when posting to social media. The follo

wing are types of content that are not allowed on Camas School District social media sites:

-Comments, posts, or replies that are out of context and/or not related to the topic at hand;
-Comments in support of or opposition to political campaigns, candidates, ballot measures, or pending legislation;
-Sexual content or links to sexual content;
-Commercial advertisements or solicitations;
-Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination;
-Language or content that is profane, vulgar, abusive, denigrating, harassing, intimidating, or bullying in nature;
-Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
-Content that endangers safety or security of the public or public systems, violates the privacy rights of individuals, or infringes on legal ownership interests of any other party;
-Content that violates Camas School District policy regarding the acceptable use of electronic resources. Please note that the comments and responses made or expressed by others on any social media platform do not reflect the opinion or position of the Camas School District or our staff.

We would like to invite you to our Kindergarten Orientation on Friday, May 22nd from 1:00–2:00 pm.

This event is for both parents and incoming Kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year. This event provides an opportunity for us to connect with families while giving our amazing teachers time to engage with our new students.

RSVP by emailing [email protected] to RSVP and include your student’s name and the number of adults attending.

Do you have a child who will turn 5 years old by August 31, 2026? Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open in Camas School District!
Starting kindergarten is an exciting milestone, and we are honored to partner with families as students begin their educational journey. Our elementary schools provide welcoming, engaging learning environments where students build confidence, friendships, foundational skills, and a love of learning.

By registering early, families help our schools prepare for:
Appropriate staffing and class placement
Student support services
Kindergarten orientation and transition activities
Transportation and planning needs
Families can register online here: https://www.camas.wednet.edu/page/student-registration

Kindergarten Orientation will take place on Thursday, May 22, from 1–2 PM at all elementary schools (Prune Hill Elementary: 12–1 PM). Families will have the opportunity to meet school staff, visit classrooms, learn about kindergarten, and even enjoy a short school bus ride.

If you know a family with an incoming kindergartner, please help us spread the word!
